Unicorn Party and a Guinea Pig

Today we celebrated Klara turning FIVE! This was the first year that she was able to give out invitations to her friends so it was a lot of fun.

This year she asked for a unicorn party at our local splash pad. I bought our decorations at Party City and a few things from Walmart.

Klara asks for subs and strawberry cake every year. For three 2 foot sandwiches, we spent just under $30 which is a bargain for subs that are THAT good. We even had leftovers for dinner! If you’re ever in the area, be sure to check out Big Eddie’s Deli. Make sure you order some potato salad. You won’t regret it!

My favorite balloon place that we order from for all of our events always does SUCH a great job! I love their balloon bouquets. This one was just $20 and made the perfect photo prop.

The most important people in our lives celebrated with us today and for that, I could not be more thankful.

Klara’s three best friends made her day so special. Well, two best friends and her “boyfriend” that I am crazy about. He is the sweetest kid on the planet.

Aliyah has been Klara’s best friend this school year and she says she has the “best ever playdates” with Charlotte. When Charlotte got out of her truck today, Klara excitedly jumped up and down and yelled, “Charlotte Rose!” And gave her the biggest smile.

She thinks it’s SO COOL that her two best friends are Charlotte Rose and Aliyah Rose.

We had so much fun!

Jordan and I gave our gift to Klara a day early. She is such a little mama, always taking care of others and is always asking for more responsibilities at home. “Can I please help the boys with the dishes? When will I be able to take out the trash?” She even persuaded us to let her put in a new trash bag after Koby takes a bag out to the trash can. After some discussion and a whole lot of research, we decided to get her a Guinea pig. She loves him! She has played Barbies with him, read him a book, and tells him he, “has to take his vitamins and eat all of his vegetables,” so he can stay healthy. Such a mom.

Do you have, or have you ever had, a Guinea pig?
