When you were young, did your parents get you an ornament each Christmas? My mom still has our ornaments from when we were growing up and hangs them on her tree every year. I am not the best at buying all three kids an ornament each year, but it is a tradition I hope to keep up from now on. Her family keeps a book of Christmas ornaments and she documents the year it was bought, who it was bought for, and the story behind it. I love this idea!

I also found this idea when scrolling through Pinterest. Our kids would love having their own ornament box to open (almost like an early gift!) each year.

My kids love going through their ornaments. I keep every ornament that they make at church and at school as well. I guess you could say I’m an ornament hoarder. Our son Koby gets so eager to dig out a penguin ornament he made in kindergarten. It’s the most exciting thing to him every year.
