Blogtober / Decorating for Halloween

Welcome to Blogtober! For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to create content for Blogtober. I have some fun posts to share with you this month, but for my first ever Blogtober post I’m going to share some of my favorite Halloween decorations.

I love pulling out my Halloween totes and decorating the house. Each year I try to add a few new decor pieces to my collection. This year I bought these spiders from Target.

If you’ve followed this blog for awhile, you will see a lot of the same decor from years prior. I love holding on to decorations for every season.

I love how popular posable skeletons are right now. I bought a few different ones this year. One from Wal-Mart and two from Target, all in different sizes.

These are my favorite shelves to decorate. They came from Target a few years ago and are the perfect size.

I found this welcome mat at Bed Bath and Beyond on sale for just $9 and it’s perfect for our front porch.

This year I’m using these fun potion bottles as the centerpieces for our coffee table.

This has been my favorite corner of the house. It’s such a cozy little space for reading and drinking my coffee every morning.

These bats are so fun! Their wings can be folded to create a 3D, realistic look and they come with small foam dots so you can stick them to the wall. There are 12 bats in a pack for $1.94 at Wal-Mart.

Here are some other purchases I’ve made so far this season. These things came from TJ Maxx and I snagged everything pictured for less than $12.

Throw pillows are one of my favorite ways to decorate. I have the Trick Or Treat pillow in our living room and the Hocus Pocus pillow on mine and Jordan’s bed.

What are some of your favorite decor pieces this October?
