Day 15: Nintendo Night

When we bought Koby a Nintendo Switch a few years ago, I never imagined it would be something the whole family would love. It makes for the best family time. I love playing games with our kids- especially the ones I grew up playing!

Day 16 and 17: _________

We had to postpone some things on our bucket list for days 16 and 17 because of basketball games. Kylan started a summer basketball league and it’s keeping him busy. Some days he just has workouts, but other days we’re sitting in the bleachers for three games. One night we didn’t get home until 10:30. It’s been such a blessing to see him doing what he loves. I love watching him on the court. I love it so much that I would do it every single day if I could.

Day 18: Family Game Night

We laughed so hard when we played Googly Eyes. It’s our new favorite family game. We put all electronics away (besides my phone for these few pictures) and we spent hours talking, laughing, and being competitive.

Day 19: Camp In

For our camp in I made a campfire with paper towel rolls, orange tissue paper, and flickering, flameless tea light candles. Rather than digging out our tent and trying to put it up, we made a “tent” from blankets. We had flashlights, a lantern, a stuffed bear, and small artificial Christmas trees placed around our living room. We roasted marshmallows, made smores, and told stories around the “campfire”.

Day 20: Lazy Day

Between Kylan’s basketball schedule and Jordan working a different shift this week, I was so excited to have a lazy day. I didn’t cook all day and we brought all of our blankets into the living room and watched movies. We even napped. Our dogs loved it.

Day 21: Space Jam and Basketball

Klara went to see the new Space Jam movie during summer camp so me and the boys watched the original Space Jam at home. When Klara got home from school we spent the evening playing basketball.

The month of July is flying by and school will be starting back before we know it. We have some fun things coming up on our summer bucket list. Stay tuned!
