Now that I’m in my 30’s, I finally decided to splurge on a good skincare regimen. I have heard about TULA skincare for years and have always wanted to try some of their products.

TULA is a brand built on the power of probiotics and superfoods. Founded by Dr. Roshini Raj, TULA was launched in 2014. Dr. Raj has been studying probiotics for more than 15 years and took notice to the life-changing impact probiotics had on her patients. Not only were they feeling better, but their skin was glowing.

Dr. Raj believes that probiotics are the best way to balance your skin. Probiotics restore your skins natural balance, nourish your skin to improve hydration and smoothness, and calms the look of inflammation and irritation. Fun fact: TULA means ‘balance’ in Sanskrit.

The TULA website has a quiz that you can take to get a personalized skincare routine. You can also shop by category (cleansers, moisturizers, toners, serums, etc.) or by concern (uneven tone, uneven texture, dry skin, oily skin, etc.)

I took the quiz and was surprised that some of the products I had been wanting to try were recommended for me. I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on the full size products and risk not liking them, so I bought a discovery kit. The discovery kits include 1 fl oz and 0.5 oz samples at a reasonable price.

I love that when you click on products on the TULA website, you can see what probiotic strains are inside. With the discovery kits, there is also a “how to use” tab that explains how (and in which order) to apply each product.

The reviews on the TULA website are extremely helpful as well. With each review, you’re given the age of the customer, their skin type, skin tone, and their skin concerns.

My Review

I was surprised by how long the small samples lasted. I’m still using them and have had them for almost a month. My package arrived on January 8 and I use the products twice a day. With TULA, a little goes a long way.

After a few days of using my TULA products, I was hooked. My skin has never been so soft. I have fair/light skin and struggle with big pores, blackheads, blemishes, sun spots, occasional breakouts, dark under eye circles and puffiness. Since using TULA, I have an overall smooth skin texture and I feel like my skin is glowing. I am so much more confident on the days I don’t wear makeup.
