PHOTO EVERY HOUR: CHRISTMAS EVE

Every year I look back on the holidays and wish I had taken more photos. This year I wanted to take some pictures every hour and put together a Christmas blog post. I love reading these posts any time of the year, but this is the first one I’ve ever done. It was so much fun so be expecting to see more posts like this in the future!

If you know my husband, you know he’s an early bird. He gets up at 3:45 every morning Monday through Friday to get ready for work so 5 to 6 o’clock is sleeping in for him, but we slept in until 7:45 this morning and it was so nice.

8:00- I got things ready to set up our dining table for our traditional North Pole Breakfast. Every year I put together a fun table set up and our elf eats a fun (and usually really sugary) breakfast with us.

Once the table was set, I made a cup of coffee and started on our pancakes.

9:00- We ate breakfast.

10:00- We straightened up the house, done a load of laundry, and a load of dishes.

11:00- I needed to pick up a last minute Target order so me and Jordan ran inside and stopped by Starbucks for a coffee on our way out.

12:00- Jordan and I loaded up Christmas gifts and delivered them to all of his family.

1:00- We started preparing some things for Christmas Eve dinner. I put meatballs in the crackpot and Jordan put our ham in the oven.

2:00- We had a family friend stop by to wish us a Merry Christmas. His family is so special to us.

3:00- We ate lunch by the Christmas tree.

4:00- We made reindeer food for Santa’s reindeer tonight.

5:00- I put together a spread of crackers, cheeses, pickles, nuts, chips and dip. We had ham rolls and meatballs as well.

After we ate, we had popcorn and watched a Christmas movie.

6:00- We opened gifts.

7:00- We listened to Christmas music and watched the snow fall.

8:00- We read Twas the Night Before Christmas and put together some treats for Santa.

What was the best part of your Christmas Eve?
