Happy Friday morning! Even though I’m not getting around to posting this until Saturday night. 🤦‍♀️

This week has been special. Our kiddos are happy, our puppies are growing, we have been spending a lot of time outside, and yesterday we had a special visitor- our papaw!

I made a special lunch for us to have with him and it was delicious. I made ham and cheese sliders, pasta salad, and banana pudding. We also had strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

He was wearing the shirt we ordered him for Father’s Day and our babies loved all over him.

I am so excited for next week. Jordan took the whole week off and we are planning some fun things to do as a family. Lately we have spent a lot of time on the patio. It’s probably my favorite thing about our new house. We eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner outside most days. We even have popcorn at night while we watch the lightning bugs. Last week Jordan made the BEST chicken I’ve ever had and we made grilled chicken salads for dinner.

I can’t wait to celebrate the 4th of July at our new home with a cook out. I am hoping to make it a fun day for the kids because last year Kylan was very sick and missed out on all of the fun festivities. He missed the food, swimming, popsicles, sparklers and fireworks. A few days later he was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks, with 5 of those days spent in ICU. I am working on a health update post to share soon, stay tuned! This week I bought some festive 4th of July items and matching blue shirts for me and Klara to wear as we celebrate.

Something else I enjoyed this week was transferring some of my old pictures to my phone from my computer. Something about pictures makes me so happy. Seeing photos of my pregnancies, the births of our children, our wedding, and all of our family vacations fills my heart.

I made a quick trip to At Home this week and got this piece for our front door. They also have one that says welcome and it was the one I really wanted, but when a sales associate couldn’t locate it for us, I went ahead and bought this one instead.

Klara recently got a cactus grow kit from Target and a sunflower kit as well. This week her sunflowers sprouted and the girl was so excited!

Our puppies have done a lot of growing this week. Lola’s coat is changing colors and she has gotten much taller. Ranger is just as sweet as the day we brought him home. Their name tags with all of our personal information on the backside arrived and they turned out better than I had imagined.
