Today was such a great day. My husband, Jordan, took the day off from work, we had someone watch the kids (which RARELY happens) and we had a date day! We went to Asheville, North Carolina and it was so. much. fun.We knew we wanted to go to Trader Joe’s and unfortunately, the Asheville store is the closest one to us. We stopped by TJ Maxx/Home Goods and it is my new favorite! Two of my favorite stores in ONE SPOT.They had so many cute things that it would have been impossible to leave empty handed. I have been searching for a piece of wall decor to hang on an empty wall in our living room and fell in love with this as soon as I seen it.

I also treated myself to a new bag. I carry my Michael Kors purse everywhere, but I’ve been wanting a backpack that will help keep my hands free because let’s be real, I need to hold two kiddos hands when we walk through parking lots. I am particular when it comes to different styles, materials, and colors, but I LOVE this bag! I had a hard time choosing between the tan color or a blush pink, but ultimately chose this one.I will put together a What’s in my Bag post soon so you guys can see how I use this! It’s nothing special, but I’m so excited to put it to use.After we left TJ Maxx/Home Goods, we went to the Asheville Outlets. We didn’t buy anything, but enjoyed looking around and loved every minute of being together.We started getting hungry around noon and got directions to Tupelo Honey. The food was REALLY good, y’all. We just wanted a light lunch so Jordan ordered fried green tomatoes and I ordered the Southern cobb salad. They brought biscuits to the table with delicious jam and honey!After we had lunch we headed to Trader Joe’s. Now that we’re TJ experts, we knew what items we were after and were finished shopping within 20-25 minutes. Here is the majority of our haul.On our way home it rained so hard. We couldn’t see anything in front of us and everyone on the interstate pulled over on to the side of the road until the storm passed. I’ve never seen anything like it.
