Every Thanksgiving I have every intention on taking pictures and lots of ’em. Pictures of our loved ones and the meal that we are sharing together. But sadly, each year I seem to take less and less. I want to be able to look back on the memories and remember the smell of the food, the chatter and laughter throughout the house, how the weather felt outside, and the sound of little feet running up and down the stairs. My heart has been so grateful this holiday season and capturing moments with our loved ones to pass on to the generations to come means so much to me. Those thoughts inspired me to gather some of my favorite pictures of our loved ones and share them with you today.
This is my mamaw, me, and my papaw
This was the only time I ever remember our whole family being together at church. My brother didn’t go on a regular basis and my aunt lived out of state, so this was a very special occasion and I am so happy that someone took a photo
