Happy 29th Birthday

Dear Jordan,

Today as you turn another year older, I want you to know how forever grateful I am to be your wife.

You are our provider and always do whatever needs to be done to assure that our family is taken care of– you are a prime example of what the Bible tells us a husband should be.

You make me laugh every single day. You love your babies fiercely. You push them to do their best and are raising them to be good people. You always make me feel beautiful and are always uplifting. Loving you comes easy and you make my life so beautiful.

Our life together is one for the books. From the time we met things were never what I would consider ideal for a relationship, but we continue to forgive, give it to God, and allow Him to work in our marriage. He has brought us back together after the unthinkable and has made us both better people– for each other and for Him.

Thank you for leading me closer to Christ, for loving me even when it’s hard, and for always taking the opportunity to do more for us. If there is anything you can do around the house to help me out, you do it. If there is overtime at work, you take it. If there is something you know that I want, you get it.

Marrying you was the day God saved my life. He knew about everything we had already overcome, knew about the challenges ahead of us, and knew that we could make it. He knew we would seek Him, and that in our struggles, He would be found.

Today and every day I am praising Him for you. I hope 29 is everything you hope it will be and more. I can’t wait to spend it with you.
