Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes

It’s hard to believe that next week is Thanksgiving! We all have a favorite dish or two, so today I’m going to share my favorites with you.

We have at least four different Thanksgiving dinners to attend each year. My grandfathers, my mother-in-laws, Jordan’s aunts, and our church dinner.

My favorite dishes are green bean casserole, brown sugar glazed carrots, pineapple casserole, and mashed potatoes with gravy. I love deviled eggs as well. When I think of the perfect Thanksgiving meal, those things come to mind along with turkey, stuffing, and rolls.

Jordan’s aunt, Renee, makes an amazing brocolli casserole dish and his other aunt, Lisa, makes sausage balls that we all love.

I can’t imagine a Thanksgiving gathering without pumpkin pie, but my favorite dessert is this pecan cheesecake dish pictured above on the right. It is the perfect dessert for the holidays.

Below are the dishes we made for one of our family dinners last year. Green bean casserole, brown sugar glazed carrots, apple pie, and the pecan cheesecake dish.

Thinking about our families gathering together next week makes my heart so full. This is my most favorite time of the year.

What are some of your favorite holiday dishes? Share them with us– we would love to hear them!
