Fall has always been my favorite time of year. The cooler weather, fall colors, sweaters, flannel shirts, leggings and boots, Jordan’s homemade potato soup, pumpkin pie, chili in the crockpot, candy apples, hot chocolate, hayrides, pumpkins and mums. Those are the things that make my Southern heart flutter.

This was Kylan and Koby’s fall festival at school. There were games, prizes, a cake walk, a petting zoo, food and lots of fun!

There’s just something about being surrounded by family this time of year. Going to my mother-in-law’s after church for chili and pumpkin pie, baking Halloween cookies, discussing Thanksgiving dishes, and just enjoying one another is the biggest blessing of all.
