Grinch Movie Night
With some planning in advance, we had a family Grinch Night and I have to say, the kids absolutely loved it. This is another new family tradition that will certainly continue in years to come.
We made Grinch cupcakes
The kids decorated them with icing and green sprinkles
We made Grinch punch
I found this idea on Pinterest and loved it so much that I made them for the boys
Now that I know that Grinch Night will be a huge success in the future, there will be a lot more time put into it. If you are considering doing Grinch Night with your family, here are my recommendations for a night full of fun!
Dinner
Roast Beast sandwiches
- Cook 2 pounds of roast beef in the crock pot with a can of Beef Consume and 1 cup of beef broth on high for 4 hours
- Slice up and serve on Hawaiian Sweet rolls
Who-Hash
- Cook up some hashbrowns, add a little shredded cheese, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
Grinch Punch
- Put lime sherbert into your pitcher, add Sprite and pineapple juice
You can also add green food coloring for a richer color
Dessert
Who Pudding
- Vanilla pudding and add green food coloring
You could even turn the Who Pudding into Who Pies by putting leftover pudding into the small individual pie crusts
Grinch Ka-bobs
- Use green grapes for the Grinch, strawberries for his santa hat, topped with a marshmallow
